1) Name of the Post: Peon

No. of post: 1 (one)

Category: UR

Qualification & Experience: The candidates should be passed Class VIII or read up to Class - XII. Candidates who have passed FISSLC or above shall be ineligible to apply for the said post.

Age limit: Category-wise age limits for the post of Peon, as on the last date of receipt of applications, will be as under:- 
  • Unreserved 40 Years  
  • OBC/MOBC 43 Years  
  • SC 45 Years 
  • ST (P) & ST (H) 45 Years 
  • PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disability)  50 Years
Salary Scale: Rs.12000-52000/- plus GP 3900/-


How to apply for Judicial Magistrate Titabor Recruitment 2022


1) Candidates must be Indian citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.

2) Candidates must have registered their names in the Employment Exchange and the Registration is to be valid as on the date of submission of applications

3) Candidates serving in Govt. Department should submit their application through the proper channel.

4) If any candidate is found to have suppressed his/her educational qualifications or given wrong information, at the time of applying for a job or later on his/her candidature shall -stand rejected without any notification to him/her with immediate effect and shall also be liable to Criminal Prosecution as per Law.

5) The application with self-attested copies of all testimonials regarding Educational Qualification, Age, Caste, Valid Employment Exchange Registration Card, and Experience Certificate (wherever applicable) along with 3 (three) copies of recent passport size photographs duly signed by the candidate on the reverse side should reach the Office of the District and Sessions Judge, Jorhat.

6) The applicants shall mention their Mobile Numbers in the application form without fail.

7) The eligible candidates shall be required to appear for a written test, followed by viva-voce.

8) The candidates must appear in the screening written test. Marks obtained in the written test shall not be the basis of final selection. It will be used only for the purpose of preliminary screening. The shortlisted candidates will be required to appear for the viva-voce test. The syllabus for the written examination will be Assamese, English, General Knowledge, and Reasoning & Aptitude of Class VIII standard.

9) No individual call letters will be sent to the eligible candidates. However. A list of candidates to be called for written test and viva voce will be uploaded to the official website of Jorhat District Judiciary (https://jorhatjudiciary.gov.in) and candidates will download the same from the official website. The list of rejected candidates will also be uploaded to the official website.

10) Interview Centre: Jorhat (Date & Venues will be informed on the Official Website).

11) No T.A./D.A. will be admissible to the candidates for attending the interview process.

12) Application received late or without proper supporting documents or unsigned or incomplete will be summarily rejected.

13) Canvassing directly or indirectly shall disqualify a candidate.

14) The application should be addressed to the District and Sessions Judge, Jorhat.

15) The Selection Board reserves the right to cancel, alter or modify the advertisement or other terms and conditions of the advertisement without any prior notice.
