APSC (Assam Public Service Commission) CCE Recruitment 2023 department has released an official advertisement notification of the Combined Competitive Examination for the recruitment of 913 vacancies. Qualification & Experience: The candidate must hold a Degree from any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess such qualification as may be declared equivalent by the Government.

Age limit: The candidate should not be less than 21 years and more than 38 years of age on 01.01.2022.

Age Relaxation: The category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below.
# SC/ST: 5 years
# OBC/ MOBC: 3 years
# PwBD: 10 years

Eligibility Criteria of APSC CCE Examination

1) Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian citizen.

2) Regional Language Proficiency: A candidate should be able to speak Assamese or other official languages or associate official languages of the State or any of the tribal languages of the State.

3) Residentship: A candidate must be an original inhabitant of Assam.

4) Employment Exchange Registration: A candidate should be registered in a District Employment Office of Assam.

5) Small Family Norms: Candidates have to submit a declaration regarding "The Small Family Norms" in Form-A at the time of applying for the C.C. (Prelim) Examination.

How to apply for APSC CCE Recruitment 2023

1) CANDIDATES ARE REQUIRED TO APPLY FOR THE PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION ONLINE THROUGH THE WEBSITE,.httDs: / /apscrecruitment.in" ONLY. NO OTHER MODE FOR SUBMISSION OF THE APPLICATION IS VALID.

2) The online Applications can be submitted from 12.o0 Noon, 21.01.2O23 to 1O.O2.2O23 till 5.00 P.M. after which the link will be disabled. The last date for payment of the prescribed fee is 12,02.2023 till 5.00 P.M.

3) Scroll down, and go to the Important Web-Links section.

4) Click on the Online Application Form link.

5) A new webpage will be opened.

6) Enter all your personal and educational details as required.

7) Upload your passport-sized photograph and signature and other required documents.

8) Pay the examination fee as per your category and at the end click on submit button.

9) Don't forget to take a print of the submitted application form .

Application fee for APSC CCE Recruitment

Under the Digital India initiative by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology [MeitY], Government of India, APSC has decided to launch its Online Recruitment portal with the help of CSC-SPV, a MeitY-approved organization, which will charge a processing fee of Rs. 40 / - + 780/0 tax = 47 .20 / - from each candidate.

Selection Process of APSC CCE Examination

The Combined Competitive Examination consists of two successive stages:- 
(i) The Preliminary Examination (Objective Type) 
(ii) The Main Examination (Written & Interview)

#PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION: 
a) The Preliminary Examination will consist of two papers of objective type multiple choice questions of two hours duration each. 
This paper is of qualifying nature. 
b) The questions will be of objective type with multiple choices, 
c) This Examination is meant to serve as a screening test only. 
d) The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination by the Candidates who are declared qualified for admission to the Main Examination will not be counted for determining the final order of merit. 
e) There will be negative marking for incorrect answers as detailed below: 
(i) There are four alternatives for the answers to every question. One-fourth of the total mark assigned to one question will be deducted for a wrong answer marked by a candidate. 
(ii) If a candidate marks more than one answer, it will be treated as a wrong answer even if one of the given answers happens to be correct. 
f) The Paper II of the C.C. (Prelims Examination is a qualifying paper with minimum qualifying marks fixed at 330/0. 
g) The candidates may refer to the Assam Public Service Combined Competitive Examination (AmendmentJ Rules, 2019 for syllabi of General Studies I & General Studies II.

#MAINS EXAMINATION: The Main Examination consists of (A) a Written Examination and (B) an Interview Test

(A) Written Examination: a) On the basis of the result of the Preliminary Examination, the number of candidates to be admitted to the written part of the Main Examination will be 1-L to 1-Z times the number of vacancies notified for each category. The selection will be strictly on the basis of merit adhering to the norms of Vertical and Horizontal Reservation as per the prescribed law in force. 
b) The written examination shall consist of six papers of conventional essay type/objective type with limited words. Marks obtained in the Interview for Personality Test shall be counted for ranking. The written examination will consist of the following papers: 
A candidate shall be allowed to write his/her answer papers in English or Assamese language.

(B)Interview: 0n the basis of the result of the written part of the Main Examination, candidates will be called for an interview in a ratio of 1:3 against the number of vacancies advertised. Marks thus obtained by the candidates in the Main Examination (Written Part, as well as Interview, would determine their final ranking. Candidates shall be allotted to the various services keeping in view of their ranks in the examination and frespective] of preference expressed by them for different posts (i.e. on the basis of Merit cum Preference opted by the candidates in their applications for the Main Examination] and reservations therein.

CENTRES FOR THE PRELIMINARY & MAIN EXAMINATION: 

(A) The centres for the Combined Competitive (Preliminary Examination are BARPETA, BONGAIGAON, BISWANATH CHARIALI, DHEMAI, DHUBRI, DIBRUGARH, DIPHU, GOALPARA, GOLAGHAT, GUWAHATI, HAFLONG, HAMREN, HATSINGIMARI, HOJAI, JORHAT, KAJALGAON, KARIMGANJ, KOKRAJHAR, MAJULI, MANGALDOI, MORIGAON, MUSHALPUR, NAGAON, NALBARI, NORTH LAKHIMPUR, SILCHAR, SIVASAGAR, SONARI, TEZPUR, TINSUKIA AND UDALGURI. 
(B) The Combined Competitive (Main Examination will be held in GUWAHATI Centre only. 
(C) The exact dates for the Preliminary and Main Examination respectively will be notified in due course.
