Majuli Judiciary Recruitment 2022: Apply 7 Peon, Jarikarak, Chowkidar, Driver Posts

Majuli Judiciary Recruitment 2022 department has released an official advertisement notification for the recruitment of Peon, Jarikarak, Chowkidar, and Driver in the establishment of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Majuli, Assam. Eligible and interested candidates may apply through a standard form. Before applying for the post, the candidates must read the advertisement carefully. The details of Majuli Judiciary Recruitment 2022 are given below.

Application is invited from intending eligible candidates, who are citizens of India as defined in Articles 5 and 6 of the Constitution of India, in the Standard Form of application for filling up vacant posts (highlighted hereunder in the table) in the establishment of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Majuli, Assam. The qualification, eligibility criteria, and reservations are set forth in the table against the posts after taking into due consideration the relevant rules of government as amended from time to time.

1) Name of the Post: Peon

No. of post: 3 (Three)

Category: UR-2, ST(H)-1

Qualification & Experience: The candidates should be class VIII passed, those candidates who have passed HSSLC or above shall be ineligible to apply.

Age limit: The candidate should not be less than eighteen (18) years of age and not more than forty (40) years of age as on 01.07.22. The upper age limit is relaxable by –
i) 5 years for ST and SC candidates, i.e. up to 45 years as per Government Notification No.ABP.6/2016/51 Dated Dispur, the 2nd September 2020 issued by Department of Personnel, Government of Assam.
ii) 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates, i.e. up to 43 years as per Government Notification No.ABP.6/2016/52 Dated Dispur, the 2nd September 2020 issued by Department of Personnel, Government of Assam.
iii) EWS candidates must produce income and assets certificate of the family issued by the Officer, not below the rank of Circle Officer as per provision of para 5 of Govt.OM No.ABP.07/2019/4 Dated 31.02.2019.

Salary scale: Rs.12000/- to Rs.37500/- plus GP Rs.3900/- (PB-1)


2) Name of the Post: Process server/Jarikarak

No. of post: 2 (Two)

Category: UR-2

Qualification & Experience: The candidates should be passed the HSLC exam and also must have knowledge of the official language of Assam.

Age limit: The candidate should not be less than eighteen (18) years of age and not more than forty (40) years of age as on 01.07.22. The upper age limit is relaxable by –
i) 5 years for ST and SC candidates, i.e. up to 45 years as per Government Notification No.ABP.6/2016/51 Dated Dispur, the 2nd September 2020 issued by Department of Personnel, Government of Assam.
ii) 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates, i.e. up to 43 years as per Government Notification No.ABP.6/2016/52 Dated Dispur, the 2nd September 2020 issued by Department of Personnel, Government of Assam.
iii) EWS candidates must produce income and assets certificate of the family issued by the Officer, not below the rank of Circle Officer as per provision of para 5 of Govt.OM No.ABP.07/2019/4 Dated 31.02.2019.

Salary scale: Rs.14000/- to Rs.49000/- plus GP Rs.5200/- (PB-2)


3) Name of the Post: Chowkidar

No. of post: 1 (One)

Category: UR

Qualification & Experience: The candidates should be class VIII passed, those candidates who have passed HSSLC or above shall be ineligible to apply.

Age limit: The candidate should not be less than eighteen (18) years of age and not more than forty (40) years of age as on 01.07.22. The upper age limit is relaxable by –

4) Name of the Post: Driver

Category: UR

Qualification & Experience: The candidates should be passed the HSLC exam. exam. The candidate must hold a valid driving license to drive.

Age limit: The candidate should not be less than eighteen (18) years of age and not more than forty (40) years of age as on 01.07.22. The upper age limit is relaxable by –
i) 5 years for ST and SC candidates, i.e. up to 45 years as per Government Notification No.ABP.6/2016/51 Dated Dispur, the 2nd September 2020 issued by Department of Personnel, Government of Assam.
ii) 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates, i.e. up to 43 years as per Government Notification No.ABP.6/2016/52 Dated Dispur, the 2nd September 2020 issued by Department of Personnel, Government of Assam.

How to apply for Majuli Chief Judicial Magistrate Recruitment 2022


1) Candidates who will fulfill the requisite eligibility criteria must submit their applications in the Standard Form of application published in the Assam Gazette Part-IX and fill the form with BLOCK LETTERS using a Black/blue ball pen only. Paste one (1) recent passport size colored photograph in the specified box and submit another two (2) passport size photographs with the application form. Put the applicant’s signature in the box specified for signature.

2) The filled up “Application form” along with the copy of age certificate, educational qualification certificate, caste certificate from a competent authority, employment exchange registration certificate, forwarding documents, in the case apply through proper channel, driving license (in case of applying for the post of Driver), experience certificate (if any), must be sent it by post to the Office of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Majuli, P.O. Garamur Satra, PIN 785104, Dist. Majuli (Assam), or may be dropped in the “Drop Box for applications” to be kept in the Office of the undersigned. The documents furnished with the application must be self-attested by the candidates himself/herself.

3) The applicant should superscribe the name of the post at the top of the Envelope.

4) Candidates have to produce their original testimonials regarding educational qualification, date of birth, caste certificate, driving license (in case of applying for Driver post), and working experience (if any) at subsequent stages as and when asked for.

5) Applications made in any other mode except as indicated above shall be summarily rejected without any communication.

6) In the case of candidates applying for more than one (1) post, they shall have to file a separate application for each and every post. Selection Board reserves the right to select a particular post and Board's decision will be final.

7) Applicants who are already in Government service should submit their applications through the proper channel. They shall have to produce a No Objection Certificate at the time of document verification and release order at the time of joining from the present employer if selected.

8) Candidates applying for the post of Driver shall have to appear in a driving test to be conducted by the District Transport Authority, Majuli, Assam.

9) No TA/DA will be admissible to the candidates for appearing in the screening/ driving test/viva voce, etc.

10) Incomplete applications in any respect will be rejected without assigning any reason thereof. No applications will be accepted or received after the last date of submission of applications through any mode. The authority shall not be responsible for any postal delay.

11) Candidates will be responsible for any mistakes made by him/her in the application form.

12) No individual call letters will be sent to the eligible candidates. However, a list of eligible candidates to be called for written test/viva voce/driving test, etc. will be uploaded in the official website of District Judiciary, and candidates are required to download the Admit Card from the official website as per instructions given in the website in due course of time.

13) Candidates are advised to visit the official website (https://districts.ecourts.gov.in/about-majuli-district-judiciary) of Majuli District Judiciary regularly to get updated information.

14) If any candidate is found canvassing directly/indirectly, his/her candidature will be rejected.
